Power BI Support Tools and Gadgets Package

We have been working with Power BI practically since its launch. In that time, we have put together a number of smaller tools that make working with it more efficient, recommended practices, templates and other useful tweaks.

We provide templates for rapid report development with a unified look and feel to make it easier for users to navigate. We can automatically test the performance of Power BI reports for thousands of users to see if the environment can handle the planned load. We have sophisticated reports for what-if analysis, organizational structure visualization, sentiment analysis and more that you can just customize to your needs.

We are further extending the Power BI toolkit with additional components. If you are interested in any of them, we will be happy to share our experience and help you implement them.

Tools from the toolkit

  • A universal template for report development adapted to your company’s graphic standards. Includes different versions of themes, rules for using the canvas, filter placement concepts, pre-formatted visuals, calculated calendars and detailed instructions.
  • Automated performance testing. Supports emulation of Power BI workloads in the order of hundreds to thousands of users.
  • What-if analysis. Special interactive report template allowing real-time recalculation based on dozens of specified parameters.
  • Organizational structure. A special template showing the hierarchical structure of employees, including their photos, contact information and other additional data.
  • Cloud cost monitoring. Pre-built solution for monitoring the cost of cloud services, combined in one place. Currently supports Azure and AWS services.
  • Sentiment Analysis. Pre-built solution for sentiment analysis of written text (surveys, forms, posts…) and their reporting in Power BI environment.
